Records of our interactions — when you enquire about our services or programs, we keep a note so we can follow up properly.
Technical and browsing information — like your browser type, device, how you found our site, which pages you visited, and general location data. This helps us keep the site running smoothly and understand what's working.
Information from connected accounts — if you link a social media or other account to interact with us, we may receive the information you've agreed to share through that connection.
Anything else you choose to share with us — directly or through how you use our site and services.
We may collect these types of personal information directly from you or from third parties.
Why do we collect it, and how do we use it?
We use your information:
To provide and improve our services — so you can access our website, resources and programs.
To communicate with you — responding to your questions, sharing updates, and keeping you informed about things relevant to you.
To understand our community — looking at trends and feedback so we can make our offerings more useful and relevant.
To run programs, projects and initiatives — opportunities we think might interest you.
To share opportunities we believe in — occasionally, we may tell you about products, services, or events from partners we trust, if we think they'd be genuinely helpful to you. You can always say no to this (more on that below).
To keep good records — for our internal administration and so we can provide continuity in how we support you.

Who do we share your information with?
We don't sell your information. We only share it when there's a good reason, and we do our best to make sure any parties we share it with treat it with the same care we do. Here's who we may share with:
Service providers who help us operate — like web hosting, IT support, payment processors, email platforms and analytics tools. They only get the information they need to do their job.
Our team and trusted partners — staff, volunteers, contractors and partner organisations who work with us to deliver our programs and services.
Sponsors or collaborators — on specific programs or initiatives, where sharing relevant details is necessary.
Professional advisors — like consultants where needed to help us run things properly.
Others, if required or appropriate — in rare situations, such as protecting someone's safety, resolving a dispute, or if our organisation's structure changes in some way.
Some of the service providers we use may store or process data outside of Australia. Where that happens, we do our best to choose providers that protect your information to a standard we're confident in, and we remain accountable for the information we've collected.
Your choices and rights
We want you to feel in control of your information. Here's what you can do:
You don't have to share. Providing your information is your choice. If you'd prefer not to, that's okay — though it may limit some of what we can offer you.
You can access what we hold. If you'd like to know what information we have about you, just ask. We'll provide it wherever we reasonably can.
You can correct what's wrong. If something we hold is inaccurate, out of date, or incomplete, let us know and we'll fix it.
You can opt out of marketing. If you no longer want to receive promotional or marketing emails, you can unsubscribe using the link in any email, or contact us directly.
You can ask us to limit how we use your information. If you'd like us to restrict how we use or share your details, reach out and we'll do our best to accommodate your request.
You can raise a concern. If you feel we haven't handled your information the way we should have, please tell us. We'll take it seriously, look into it promptly, and get back to you with what we found and what we'll do about it.
How we protect your information
We take reasonable steps to keep your information safe — using a combination of physical, digital, and organisational safeguards to protect against misuse, loss, and unauthorised access.
That said, no system is perfect. We can't guarantee the security of information transmitted over the internet, and there's always some inherent risk in online communication. We do our best, and we'll let you know promptly if something goes wrong that affects your information.
